Have a question about your order or our products? You'll find answers to our most common questions below. If you don't see what you're looking for, reach out to us directly through the chat button on our store.
ORDERS & PRODUCTION
Are your products made to order? Mostly — all DD-LayerLabs products are made to order. This allows us to offer full color customization on every item and ensures every product is built fresh for your order. We do tend to try and keep our more commonly sold products like the TDS Kits in-stock.
How long does production take? Most orders are produced and ready to ship within 3-5 business days. During high volume periods such as after a new product launch or around major card show seasons, lead times may be slightly longer. We'll communicate any delays directly through your order.
Can I make changes to my order after placing it? If you need to make a change to your order please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate changes before production begins. Once an item has entered production we may not be able to make modifications.
Do you offer rush orders? We don't currently offer rush production. If you have a time sensitive need please reach out before placing your order and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your timeline.
SHIPPING
How much does shipping cost? Shipping is included in the price of all DD-LayerLabs products. There are no additional shipping charges at checkout.
How do you ship? All orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage.
How long does shipping take after my order is produced? USPS Ground Advantage typically delivers within 2-5 business days depending on your location. Combined with our 3-5 business day production time, most orders arrive within 5-10 business days of purchase.
Do you ship internationally? We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping may be available in the future — follow us on social media for updates.
Will I receive a tracking number? Yes — you'll receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.
PRODUCTS & CUSTOMIZATION
What color options are available? Most DD-LayerLabs products are available in 14 colors: Black, White, Light Blue, Orange, Light Pink, Dark Pink, Red, Yellow, Grey, Peach, Light Brown, Green, Purple, and Gold. Color availability may vary by product — check individual product listings for available options. If you have a custom color request, please contact us and we will see what we can do to accommodate!
Can I mix colors within a kit? Vendor kits are currently available in Black or White only. If you need a mixed color kit please contact us before placing your order and we'll see what we can accommodate.
Are the modules compatible with each other? Yes — all Tiered Display System modules are designed to link together within the TDS ecosystem. You can mix and match BASE, 90DEG, and 180PT modules in any configuration.
What card holders do the modules use?
- TDS BASE and TDS 90DEG use Card Savers
- TDS 180PT is designed for 180pt rigid card holders only — it is not compatible with Card Savers, raw cards, or slabs
Can I add modules to my kit after purchase? Absolutely — individual modules are available separately and link directly into any existing TDS setup. The system is designed to grow with you.
LED SIGNS
How do I submit my logo for my LED sign order? After placing your order you'll receive a link to our design submission form in your order confirmation email. Submit your PNG file along with your order number through that form. We do not begin production until your file has been received.
What file format do you accept for LED signs? We accept PNG files only. Please submit the highest resolution version of your file available for best results.
Do you offer design or touch up services? No — we do not perform any design or touch up work on submitted files. What you send is what we build. If your file needs adjustments please make them before submitting.
Will my sign look exactly like my logo? We build your sign directly from your submitted PNG. Final product appearance may vary slightly based on design complexity. Additionally, colors in proofs and previews may differ from the final product due to filament availability and how individual colors react when backlit.
What power source options are available? LED signs are available with three power source options:
- AA Battery Pack — fully portable, no outlet needed
- 110V Wall Outlet — plug in for continuous power
- USB — No Power Source — USB connected, no power source included
RETURNS & REFUNDS
What is your return policy? All DD-LayerLabs products are made to order and are not eligible for return or exchange. If your item arrives defective or damaged please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.
What counts as a defective item? A defective item is one that has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during shipping. This does not include color variations due to filament availability or screen color differences, or minor cosmetic variations inherent to 3D printed products.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged? Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We'll review your case and work with you on a resolution.
Can I get a refund on a custom LED sign if I don't like how it looks? Because all LED signs are built to order from customer-provided files, we are unable to offer refunds based on design preference. Please ensure your PNG file is finalized before submitting.
